He currently specializes in the issues of our pre-retiree/retiree clientele. Bob works with high net-worth individuals whose primary concerns are selecting appropriate investments, applying effective tax reduction strategies, providing for loved ones upon death or disability, securing an acceptable standard of living now and throughout retirement, and opening the lines of communication to all clients’ family members impacted by this planning. When he is not actively serving clients or advancing his professional knowledge and education, Bob is responsible for the advancement and continued development of VFA’s Income Tax Reduction Strategies module within VFA’s comprehensive financial planning process.
A graduate of DePaul University’s College of Commerce, with a 2003 Master’s of Science Degree in Financial Services from the College for Financial Planning, Bob is also a Certified Financial Planner® (CFP), and has also taught investments at Northwestern University to students in the school for Continuing Studies.
On a personal level Bob is active with his local Church, The Rotary Club of Palatine, Special Olympics, and numerous non-profit organizations. In addition, Bob has established a not for profit organization to fund research and educate families that have a child diagnosed with PDD (Pervasive Developmental Delay) and/or Autism. He is also an avid bicyclist.
Bob and his wife Mary, along with sons Dylan, Alec and Ethan, make their home in Palatine, Illinois.
