Katrina Slavenas 

Financial Technician

Katrina (Kat) joined the Vermillion team in 2025 as a Financial Planning Intern and has grown into her role as a Financial Technician, where she provides support to both advisors and clients across the firm with care and commitment to client service. She is passionate about helping clients feel confident in their financial decisions while building long-term financial stability and meaningful relationships.

Kat graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in May of 2026, earning her degree in Agricultural and Consumer Economics with a concentration in Financial Planning. She is currently pursuing her CFP® Designation and working towards becoming a Financial Advisor. 

In her free time, Kat enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, traveling, hiking, exploring new recipes in the kitchen, and embracing her love for animals and farm life.
