Certifications and Designations
1. Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®)
The AIF designation is earned through completion of fi360’s AIF Training programs. AIF designation represents achievement of educational, competence, conduct and ethical standards, and the ability to carry out a fiduciary standard of care. AIF designation carries a reputation in the industry for the ability to implement prudent investment processes and practices as well as the ability to assist others in implementing proper policies and procedures.
2. CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® (CFP®)
The CFP ® designation is a voluntary certification issued by the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER Board and recognized by the United States and other countries for its (1) high standard of professional education, (2) stringent code of conduct and standards of practice and (3) ethical requirements governing professional engagements with clients. A candidate for designation must first obtain a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with coursework including financial planning subject areas (e.g. insurance planning, risk management, employee benefits planning, investment planning, income tax planning, retirement planning and estate planning). Candidates must also have at least 3 years of full-time personal financial planning experience, measured as 2,000 hours per year. CFP ® candidates must pass a 2-day comprehensive examination designed to test their ability to correctly diagnose financial planning issues and apply their knowledge to real world circumstances. Anyone earning CFP® designation must complete 30 hours of continuing education every two years and agree to be bound by the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER Board’s Standards of Professional Conduct.
3. Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist ™ (CRPS®)
The CRPS designation is awarded by the College for Financial Planning, a division of Kaplan, Inc., to financial professionals who successfully complete a self-study program, pass an exam and agree to comply with a code of ethics. This CRPS program educates experienced advisors on the process of building and maintaining business retirement plans, implementing well-structured, company-appropriate retirement plans, and administering retirement plans for businesses and their employees. The CRPS program includes IRAs, small business retirement plans, defined contribution plans, nonprofit plans, 401(k) and 403(b) plans, and government plans. CRPS professionals must complete 16 hours of continuing education every two years.
4. Agriculture Focused Financial Planner (AFFP®)
The AFFP® designation is issued by the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign to financial service professionals serving clients associated with agriculture or living in rural communities. The AFFP® designation indicates a deep understanding of land, legacy, agriculture and the unique needs of rural America, and identifies financial professionals as qualified and competent to work with farmers, ranchers and communities built around agribusiness.

This figure is based solely on internal records of clients who maintained and terminated an investment advisory relationship with the firm. 2. Year Founded
The reference to the year 1988 identifies the year in which Vermillion was established as a corporation. This information is provided for historical context only and does not imply any level of skill or future performance.
3. Client to Advisor Ratio
The client to advisor ratio of 47 to 1 is calculated by taking the total number of clients as of December 31st, 2024, then dividing it by the number of CFP® professionals employed by the firm as of the same date and rounded up to the nearest whole number. This ratio is presented to describe the general scale of client service support and should not be interpreted as an assurance of any specific service level or outcome.
