Joseph Cummings 

Financial Technician 

Joseph (Joey) has been with Vermillion since starting as an Intern in 2023. He currently works as a Financial Technician, where he supports clients and advisors across a wide range of planning needs. His responsibilities include servicing client accounts, assisting advisors with developing comprehensive financial plans, and helping clients navigate their day-to-day financial questions. Joey is currently pursuing his CFP® designation and working toward becoming a financial advisor.

Before joining Vermillion full-time, Joey attended the University of Missouri, where he earned a degree in finance and certificates in real estate and investments.

Outside of work, Joey enjoys spending time with friends and family, playing soccer, and supporting his favorite teams, including Liverpool FC and the Chicago Blackhawks.
